drinking peppermint tea (or green) gives me a nice burst of energy that doesnāt make me jittery or anxious like coffee does. and chamomile is super calming at night when itās time to sleep :)
green tea in the morning peppermint tea at night. maybe an earl grey in the middle if iām feeling it .
itās supposed to be good for digestion and i think itās helping that? mostly it just makes me Feel like im doing something good for myself and my body..which sometimes is enough i think
however this is not to say iāve cut out coffee ā¦nevvverrrrrr my baby. just adding drinks to the roster
I worked in coffee for many years and I donāt really want to drink it ever again!
Drinking tea has saved me time, eliminated mess, and I feel less burnt out at the end of the day. Having a cup of tea before an event makes me feel a little euphoric. I like to start the morning with a dark oolong, then have a lemonbalm/mint/tulsi, sometimes Iāll have an oceanic green in the evening. I really like a dried fruit tea with rosehips, hibiscus, and lemon peel.
i know this isnāt a new concept but i went to the movies on my own for the first time today (i saw ācivil warā) and i genuinely enjoyed it :D you get to take your time getting ready and when to show up at the theater and you can get your own popcorn⦠a very fun movie experience (especially if the theater is mostly empty :D)
last week i bought a costco chocolate cake because i felt like it, and it was so good and it brought me so much joy. sometimes one needs to eat cake for breakfast. and thatās okay.
i've been going on walks recently instead of going to the gym (i keep getting sick after going to the gym for some reason..) but i find it so peaceful, especially now that it's warmer and the flowers are blooming outside :D
