i paid an old man at the flea market $64 for a tiny digital camera and when i checked the SD card i found photos of him, laying on a stack of elaborate persian rugs. i use the camera everyday.

easiest place to look is on depop but if you're in a city a lot of flea markets have camera resellers where you can buy good quality digital cameras for like $20-100 depending on model and condition, either way it's a little labor intensive, but for what it's worth i got my sony cybershot for $20 at one of these markets and it works great

i've always wanted to tote around a camera with me with the intention of taking more pictures. for awhile that was my grandma's vintage kodak cameo, but then developing film became so much more expensive and i stopped. i didn't necessarily want a 2000s digital camera because having screens to look at in a camera makes me feel unecessarily judgy of myself? 😭 i found out about this by accident through an ad on reddit and i was really taken in by it having the uncomplicated energy of a film camera but the convenience/cost saving of digital cameras. i've had this for about 3 months and i love it. i actually remember to snap quick photos but i'm not staring at the screen contemplating whether or not my teeth look weird. it's sturdy too! my clumsy self has dropped it in my rocky backyard.

I stumbled across a mint condition sony cybershot in a charity shop for ONLY £10!!!, which is such a steal. Im not sure the lady behind the counter really knew its value. The quality on these little cameras are INSANE, first time on here, bummed I can only share 1 photo :(, none are that great just good display of cam quailty

scoured the internet for two weeks trying to find a beautiful old danish movie that literally doesn’t exist online. finally found a comment on facebook that mentioned the movie, messaged the person (a sweet old lady), walked her through the process of burning her dvd into a copy and getting it processed into a digital file to send to me. It was such an archaic file type that I had to download old software that probably gave my computer viruses but it was the best movie ever and i would do it again now watching netflix feels too easy
