documentary of baby isaac mizrahi's 1994 runway show prep. love the convos, the chaos, eartha kitt and her poodles, and the relatable creative mood swings.
i love inside baseball fashion industry docs where they’re rushing to prepare a collection they are my fave!! i recommend marc jacobs and louis vuitton also excellent
A doc abt Isaac Mizrahi putting together his 94 show, directed by his lover at the time and shot by the great Ellen Kuras. It’s so much fun, and it’s like an hour ten and it’s on vimeo and other web sites.
Last week I watched Catwalk (1995), a fashion documentary following Christy Turlington around fashion week and WOW. Catwalk is a must watch for lovers of 90s fashion and was an immediate 5/5 on letterboxd for me, personally :)) It was so interesting to see the hectic theatrics that take place behind the scenes of fashion shows and the processes of iconic designers during fittings and backstage - particularly John Galliano, of course. This documentary is bursting at the seams with iconic names, faces and walks! Give it a watch :))
