i am into matcha over coffee because i prefer the taste actually!!! maybe itās an acquired one but i adore it now⦠as well i cannot handle the amount of caffeine in one iced latte so having a matcha latte gives me my fix without making me jittery and irate :p
They say the l-theanine content in the matcha helps to reduce the cortisol spike from the caffeine and that it has a calming effect on the brain. Thereās nothing like a good cup of coffee donāt get me wrong, and like David Lynch said āeven a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee at allā but matcha in the morning gives me the same caffeine hit without that jittery buzz. I think itās something about the beans that hits differently. Iāll typically take an l-theanine supplement along side my coffee if I choose to have it, but I find Matcha a lot smoother and green tea naturally contains this wonderful amino acid - so naturally, itās my first choice whenever possible.
i love love love coffee but i seriously cannot drink it; hurts my sensitive stomach and makes me vibrate with anxiety. matcha provides such a gentle boost that helps you feel alert! here are some of my favorite matcha spots: -kettl tea (greenpoint)

one of my new yearās resolutions is to lessen my caffeine,,, i absolutely love coffee but i need to watch my health more so iām trying to do more homemade matcha recipes!!! this is culinary grade matcha with oat milk & honey :)
instead of doing it under the influence we should start saying it casually on the daily on a random weekday afternoon⦠this is the way please believe me!
