Making art is fun and it doesn't need to be branded or monetized in order to be a success! Create just to create!!!! Not everything needs monetary value to be valuable!!!!!

art being good is false commercial idealogy. Just go out and make something with good people and have fun doing it. Life’s too short to not try

“Design should not dominate things, should not dominate people. It should help people. That's its role.” I feel like whenever I’m creating something, this sits at the front of my mind. The struggle for me is I’m not making alarm clocks or home products like he did, I’m making graphics and prints for shirts or poster designs. How does that help people? is something I’ve had to ask myself over and over and over. In one sense, it doesn’t! My design won’t fix any important issue in their life. But if I can design a shirt that they really like that they’ll constantly grab to wear because they feel good in it? Success. If I design a poster that fits in their living room and it fits their aesthetic seamlessly? Success. It’s forced me to really consider if what I’m putting out there will actually help someone, and with that guiding principle I’ve been putting out better, more useful work.

They are kind of ridiculous. The epitome of a small dog. If you were to tell a child to draw a dog the drawing would most likely look like a tiny dachshund. They look better in your arm than most handbags. Nobody is afraid of them. You can’t really take them serious - which is an ideal to recommended to any Homo Sapiens. Yet they have a lot of character and are smarter than the turd who wants to become president again. And they get quiet old without going to Equinox or using nutrition supplement or detox and all that shit.

By Angelos Merges. It’s technically beautifully painted and slightly uncanny. The last remaining human beings gather after a apocalypse to discuss the questio: what should we do now?
