Fong On

Will go out of my way to come here!!!! Fong On makes makes silky tofu and feeds my obsession for 白糖糕 (sticky white rice cake). They recently started making little mini coconut rice cakes and I think about them constantly because they remind me so much of my childhood of eating microwaved rice cakes out of a ziploc bag on the way to school. Definitely a big comfort food for me and I’m so happy I found somewhere that makes them perfectly.

Bob's Shanghai 66 in rockville, md. specifically for Soup Dumplings... intact enough that they dont fall apart easily, soupy enough to have a soft, warming experience. go on a weeknight 4 easy seating. goofy and charming to me that they close at 8 .. while there for the first time I already couldn't wait to return...
