This is actually true. When I pick up a volunteer shift, I feel really good afterwards and just like, stress-free.

There's no more fulfilling thing than to help someone. It's a treat for the soul that enables any self destructive behaviour you'd like to partake in later :)

A therapist told me once that when I was despairing about the world (which is always) to do something small that can make a difference to someone else - she suggested buying a street newspaper, but I will also give money to someone who asks, tip my barista well, bring in my neighbor’s garbage cans, say thank you and mean it.

Leave reviews on stuff so other people know what’s up. like and subscribe when a creator adds value to your life . stay out of the comments , it’s probably totally unnecessary at best and maybe being a troll at worst.
