Get some minute oats and some hot water. Then get creative: raisins, honey, pb, flax, chia, nuts, berries, whatever you like. Super quick, healthy, and very versatile. It’s become my everyday breakfast and it’s always good.
put a small handful of frozen raspberries in a bowl - defrost in microwave if you want a particularly cosy breakfast, otherwise skip. add some oats (just enough to nearly cover the berries) and chia seeds (wing it) & cover with boiling water. i like to add enough that the result is a little soupy. add a biiiig spoon of peanut butter, and a teaspoon of honey, and mix mix mix, and bam you’ve got the yummiest brekkie ever
Started a new habit where I wake up and immediately read a few pages of my book instead of getting lost in my phone for those first minutes of the morning.
Makes me feel more balanced and accomplished as I start my day.
I’m thinking tailors, watch repair, framers. I’ve been rediscovering these in my area from an older friend passing down knowledge. They are delightful pockets of community and we gotta support them so they don’t disappear.
Such a fun show with so many great characters. Really loved it and sad it’s already over. There are only 6 episodes which makes it more of a tragedy than a comedy, but each one is a gem.
