i have been thinking a lot about oversized suits lately. prob via osmosis of all this talking heads hype from the last year. w/e, i love the big blazer look. very "toontown villain". something about this style is a little untrustworthy, like ur a walking optical illusion. makes me want to start carrying things around in a briefcase: open to reveal just a shitty romance novel and a box of swedish fish.
anyway, in this movie, almost every single character wears an iconic suit of this variety, and i'd say it exponentially adds to its charm.

Really been messing with big, unstructured, easy breezy suiting as of late. Been scouring eBay with 2 scores so far - I’m talking 80s/90s big I-talian shit, Pierre Balmain, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace etc.
If you really think about it, it’s like wearing a big tracksuit except you look a lil more fly.
Styling wise - you can really do what you want. Wife respecter, button up (french tuck👀), maybe a cotton knit sweater. Just a really sick, comfy, genderless uniform.
Wore this one to NYC for the weekend, its all I packed, worked like a charm and I felt smarter.

i agree with the others. you can never go wrong with a suit/blazer + shirt combo. and it doesn't have to be boring, you can play with colors, textures, or patterns.
and add some accessories to make it more interesting. jewelry, belt, pin, anything that suits your vibe. i think a big belt worn over the jacket is a cool styling choice.
also a nice pair of dress shoes or ankle boots with unique details can elevate your look (see the guy in the black suit, his outfit is simple and classic, but that pair of boots add some flair to his look–subtle but cool)
