truly one of the best bands i know. lyrics kick ass, and the contrast between the lead vocalist's angelic voice and the lyrics always gets me. FUNNY ASS BAND NAME, their drummer is insanely good, cannot recommend them enough if u like 90's riot grrrl music (tho they are more generally 90's punk rock adjacent)

The teeth

Last night i saw one of my favorite bands, the teeth live for one of their reunion shows in philly. One of the best shows i have ever been to they are just so damn tight. Perfect pop songs and so much energy. They are everything i aspire to. Carry the wood is my favorite album , but theyre one of those bands where I think everything they do is amazing.

Watching sopranos more than twice

david chase is such a genius and I catch a million new things on every watch through… like this really random and niche joke where the nurse asks a U.S. marshal if his name is really McLuhan (as in “Marshal McLuhan?”). What makes it extra great is that he’s putting an ankle bracelet on junior when she says it (global village, panopticon, etc.). I see you David Chase, you tricksy media theorist nerd you!
