sending an email or a dm to a person you care about the response from. i tuck the memory away in the bottomless pit to hide it from my anxiety. if you get a response you are happy, you are otherwise totally unaffected. works like a charm as long as you keep the lid on! also works for trauma!
idk what they were saying about it on tiktok but this is the opposite of letting it linger. things are always going to happen to you and around you and some stuff is better unthought about
this is not a rec to suppress your trauma dummy. this is for when your boss makes you go to the basement to do some heavy lifting and it's like. whatever man i'll do that for you
if you tell her how you feel, you’ll get a concrete answer (scary!)
but if you don’t, you can live in a limbo state where you hang out, even though the feelings inside you will stop any actual personal growth (awesome!)
