I usually can’t bear documentaries where people just sit and tell stories on camera, so this one was such a gem for me. it’s entirely made up of footage from Bowie’s speeches and performances, much of which had never been seen before. the editing is boldly creative, and the overall experience feels like a trip

if you don’t know 2manydj’s/Soulwax/dewaele brothers, they’re a recommendation an sich ’cause these musical brothers changed the scene, they basically invented the mash-up and reimagine music in so many creative ways. the POTWND-documentary is an awesome high energy video diary from Soulwax on the road, must watch for everyone who loves music, it’s integral and free on youtube. I think i’ve seen it 6 times by now, and just writing about it makes me want to watch again!
I love the animated intro which is -fun fact- voice overed by Soko.
“I LOVE YOU SOULWAX YOU MAKE ALL MY DREAMS COME TRUE!” is my favourite quote in it.
