on de lorimier. best fucking fried chicken sandwich i've ever had in my life. they do a tofu one too that's apparently like half a brick of firm tofu marinated/fried and it also rocks. insanely delicious. plus it's next to brouhaha so if you're also feeling thirsty you can pop in there for a pint or something. knock urself out

One of my favourite restaurants. They are a chinese restaurant that only serves vegan dishes. The food is excellent and I’m not a vegan. They have different restaurants in the city and I’d always recommend booking because they get busy.

About a year ago, I started my first (public sector) union job after years of non-union work for different companies in the private sector. The difference in collective bargaining (0-100), benefits, job security, and mental/physical well being has been nothing short of amazing.
If you are currently strung out, feeling hopeless about your career in a private sector/non-union position or field, and are wondering if there’s something better for you - there is. I took a massive pay cut from private-public for the many benefits of a union job, and it was 100% worth it. Roughly 35% of public sector jobs are union-represented, and that percentage is higher in blue, worker-friendly states. Start applying to open positions that may interest you on your local/state government’s job board, use any connection you may have (I didn’t have one and still found something) - there is a better career for you out there :)

I’ve noticed that baths tend to have a certain stigma to them in modern society. In the past, when I’ve communicated my love for baths to family, friends, and strangers on the street, I’ve been met with judgement and condescension. Are you a legit baby?, Grow up!, Time for you to enter the 21st Century!
When you experience someone belittling you for your love of baths, it hits you in a deep part of your soul. I shouldn’t have to defend myself for taking a relaxing bath 2-3 times a day! It’s time for everyone to wipe the dust off their tubs, hop in, and rediscover the joy of baths!
