Been 43 days. Unsure exactly, but it’s damn near the longest I’ve been sober in 2 years. My mind feels better every day. I think I’m a better person (contested, I’m sure). Added bonus, I look really good (empirically). Highly reccomend. Might make some recs on how to do it, as I’ve struggled to go longer than 2 weeks up until now.

Ive been sober for a year and five months. It hasn’t been an easy road, but it has changed my life, and I am incredibly grateful.

I gave up drinking for lent and I gotta say it feels amazing!! I had a few slip ups in the beginning (I will repent) but it has now been a week and a half of 0 alc and I already feel the positive effects: better sleep, more consistent with my routine, improved energy, focus, and mood. I don’t think total sobriety is a goal for me but it’s nice to take breaks and rewire the social reliance. If you’ve been looking for a sign to take a break here it is: 🪧

When you get sober you start noticing things. It’s not necessarily good or bad it’s just an observation. I’m 10 months clean and sober this month, and it’s been a long and arduous process, but maybe you just had a few too many over the holidays and need a break. Dry January is never a bad thing. Put down the ketamine and the beer and just have a nice wholesome normal interaction for once!! You might wind up actually enjoying yourself. They can pry cigarettes from my cold dead hands though...

If you don’t scratch it, you’re theoretically a millionaire. As long as you don’t scratch it. It’s like Schrodinger’s cat.
