I was always interested in learning more about philosophy, but I never knew where to begin. If you can relate, I highly recommend this book. This book takes you on a comprehensive philisophical journey through conversations with the author’s children. His kids are freaking adorable, and like all children, are naturally so curious about the world. This book has inspired me to be like a kid & lean into my curiosity 😁

It’s like 50 pages long, the perfect blend of hippie/academic and it will change your life. Mandatory reading.

I first read it as a seven year-old, probably being too young to fully grasp the themes. Despite this, it ignited my love of absurdism, philosophy, cultural references, and curiosity. Without it, I probably wouldn't appreciate conceptual things hardly at all.

So I read way too much fiction so Im trying to balance it out by listening to nonfiction audiobooks that will give me some life skills hehe. I started with this book (spotify audiobook linked) and i really like it so far! my mom recommended it to me and its really interesting so far because it follows Adlerian Psychology and I just love learning about different psychological perspectives and such. Theres also another book called The Courage to be Happy by the same authors and its definitely going to be my next listen.

One of my favorite movies is playing at IFC Center this week! This old Scorsese film evokes extremely unique emotions: I have never felt the tension of fear released by hysterical laughter quite like this. 10/10 Horror/Comedy
