You know the type. Spring-loaded hammer cracking eggs, pancake conveyor belt, robot arm catapulting bacon… The wacky inventor movie archetype peaked in the ‘90s and has since all but disappeared from the cinemascape. Notable in the tradition: Flubber, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Pewee’s Big Adventure, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Throw one on while you make your weekend eggies you won’t regret it

I don’t know that it’s as bad as other movies, but it’s a very cheesy and silly movie I stumbled upon a while back. This movie combines all of the following: - The plot of An Extremely Goofy Movie - Rodney Dangerfield standup - A young Robert Downey Jr. - A performance by Danny Elfman (during the Oingo Boingo era) And somehow, despite everything, it kinda works.

One of the best things I've seen in years. So perfect, so playful, so Python-esque! Exceptionally up my alley in every way. The egg yolk scene is such good directing and just simply divine.

A classic Don Bluth film about a rockabilly rooster who is expelled from his role as alpha male at a cartoon farm when it is discovered he is not actually making the sun rise every morning with his song. A small boy is transported to the cartoon world somehow and helps the rooster out with his problems

It's pretty fast and energy efficient. A better way to travel imo if only the world could accept it

“Who is this?” “Do you know them?” “Why are they standing like that?” Start at the beginning. Patiently peel back the layers one by one — it may take 30 minutes or more. At the end they will answer  “oh, ok, that’s weird.” it was all worth it
