this playlist was made in 2022 and this "sound" is not so new anymore, but i feel like we still havent seen the nu electroclash sound properly documented beyond The Dare and Snow Strippers.
there's far too much focus on "indie sleaze" revival when the attention should have been on this new take on the sound, which to me feels like much more than simply nostalgia-bait...
but what can i say, i love buzzing synths, dance drums, and pop hooks

Best dance house project of the last year. Honestly, this album is unreal- transports you straight to a rave. Some of the best stuff coming out of electronic music right now.

Recently I have been trying to do more shopping from bulk stores, I get to use all these jars I have been keeping on hand and it is quite fun and cheap. For a long time I thought more "natural" peanut butter had to have that wacky layer of oil and kind of taste bad. But grinding it yourself at the bulk store is a thrill on it's own. It's cheaper and I am presuming that there is less nonsense involved too. This batch is from Strictly Bulk, but Bulk Barn also has a honey roasted option which is honestly unbelievable, a fantastic treat to pair with an apple slice.
