I feel like vibes-wise some venues that might be good for you are Pete’s Candy Store, Purgatory, or Sundown.

There's a neat kombucha bar / music venue in town, and it's one of my favorite places to see music. Pretty much exclusively indie/punk shows, but a friend asked us to play there, and we brought a very different vibe with our old time/bluegrass/folk stuff. Everyone was so nice, and it was fun to merge two sort of different worlds that share a DIY ethos
I’m not a local, but my band played this DIY space last year and it was so special! If you’re into freaky art installations and live music, I highly recommend swinging by if they’ve got an event happening.
