one time my friend asked if anyone had tylenol so after that i put some in my pill case in my bag. another time another friend asked for tampons, which i don’t use, but i now carry several types of them. little things go a long way, take care of those around you😌🌟

most of mine fall under the golden rule, specifically: 1. always ask what kind of support a friend needs when sharing their blight, unwarranted advice can be condescending. 2. if you hold the door for me, the spot in front of me in line is yours. (this rule goes for all acts of kindness) 3. if i have it and you don’t and i can get it or make it again, it’s yours. 4. similarly, if i can make it with things i have at home, i’m not buying it. 5. always top off a friends glass before my own.

This is kinda an aspirational rec because I need to get better at this. But even just tiny things like when someone asks the DJ to play ur fave song without u knowing… feels lovely to be known etc etc

😃
-Help people with their bags at the supermarket -If people look lost, ask if they need help -If someone seems in need of someone to listen, lend an ear for a few minutes -pick up a bike that has fallen over -Talk to people hit by homelessness -Take trash to the trashcan -Be responsible and caring for the 10 meters around you while still keeping your self in mind -And vice versa .. ask for help .. people get from giving . Give them the gift of giving

i have noticed occasionally that some recs are turning into, dare i say, tweet-esque things…i think it’s easy to slip into acting like this is any old social media platform when it is not that; it is a special little place to tell people things you love ❣️🌀
