an insanely talented musical group based in seoul that doesn't take itself too seriously and has a song for every genre/vibe/mood!! highly recommend seeing them live (or at least watching their recent colbert show performance) ✨
i saw these guys perform last night and they have such an exciting folky-jangly-storytelling-soothing sound! best name of a band for a while too listen to ‘on a grassy knoll’ and ‘gymnopédie’ to start 🗣️
(my roommates) but genuinely making some of the most authentic music I've ever heard - they have two albums out rn!!! Such wonderful human beings who have cultivated a dope DIY music scene in my area providing avenues for other folks to enter the space:)!!!! LISTEN TO THEM I VOUCH!!!
can of bliss is a mainstay in the “hyperpop” umbrella of genres and subgenres alike, but their use of guitar in emo/post-hardcore styles sets their music apart from many others in this scene. this album is a beautiful retelling of a year of their life, and the album closer, while 12 minutes long, is one of the greatest tracks this genre has ever seen. this album also affirms my long-standing belief that furries and trans musicians make the best music.
idk if i just have one of those faces or bc i have a dog, but strangers are obsessed with telling me the most insane stories randomly and i just smile and say wow that's crazy. sometimes people just need someone who will listen i guess
mine is named scorpion, and he's gorgeous. he is missing the typical bells and whistles (vision and hearing), but he's the perfect weighted blanket/serotonin booster
