the comics, the movies (except the michael bay ones), the toys (awesome) the OG comics are all dark and awesome and crazy and awesome also
Just started it a few days ago and it's very good. If you liked the latest movie, you'd like this a ton. It's fun, visually interesting, hilarious, and is bingeable if you're into that kinda thing.
The animation is so good, the girls are cunty, you see Terry being a teenager and learning from his mistakes. Feels like an animated cyberpunk dream — a tamed Aeon Flux (which I also recommend for an animated show and if you like the darkness/adult animation of it, you’ll probably like Spawn too!)
some surprisingly in-depth sci fi worldbuilding for me at the time i read it, and personal dramas that i probably hadn't experienced but that felt relatable nonetheless. i can vaguely remember the very over-the-top TV adaptation that nickelodeon made, you have to wonder how many kids were put onto body swapping fiction by this stuff... attached pic is not my favorite one or anything, i just liked the way bug boy looks
