In 2025, I am embracing Breakfast. And not just a latte-for-breakfast moment, but Breakfast as a meal. Like how aimeefrance on insta is conducting Breakfast as, truly, the most important meal of the day. Lately, my favorite breakfast has been a half pumpernickel bagel, with a light coat of cream cheese, and fruit. Pumpernickel is nutty, is complex in flavor, and is versatile! Dare I say, what sourdough is to bread generally, pumpernickel is to bagels specifically! I eagerly await the day where I can try my newest food fixation, the pumpernickel bagel, with a soft scrambled egg and cheddar cheese, or with puddles of butter dotted with strawberry jam!
New York‘s newest favorite DJ, The Dare, played the British hyperpop princess’ latest track during his set at Silencio this week. And you know what, the crowd went absolutely feral — like, we were ALL truly having the absolute time of our lives. Von Dutch, cult classic in our eardrums indeed.

Such a stunning piece of production, I tell you. Only Caroline could think of a tabla percussion over an east-Asian flute for a pop song. I feel like I’m in a meditative state when I listen to this. Great soundtrack for a contemplative morning zone out. Also I think the line “Sexting Sonnets Under The Table“ is just so fire. I’d get it tattooed on me lol
