Usually something from the 90s (lately hole, pixies, nirvana) - I have somewhere I have to be and I have my sunglasses on. Makes me feel powerful and confident!
when i go alone, i will put on a bunch of songs that make me feel extra swag and proceed to strut through the museum to look at old paintings like i own and curated the place. makes me feel less self-conscious and adds to the experience.
that shit makes u feel like the main character no matter what. goes especially hard after a long workday. make a playlist (an hour of music is good) and jam out.
I saw this insane show at mercury lounge with friends two years ago w Oasis tribute (SUPERSONIC) and REM tribute (murmur) bands and we still talk about that show all the time - they really sounded like the real deal!!
