There are various reasons to follow a trend: You really like it. You don't want to stand out by not following it. A perfectly legitimate reason that speaks for a certain inner modesty. But you can also follow a trend because it's fun to change something without having to think about it too much. Obsessively not following every trend is probably more of a narcissistic problem: you think you are better than everyone else.

NGL I love trends. I love to follow them. Doing this newsletter is an example of this tendency in me. Following trends isn’t lame; it’s fun and can make you friends.

They are kind of ridiculous. The epitome of a small dog. If you were to tell a child to draw a dog the drawing would most likely look like a tiny dachshund. They look better in your arm than most handbags. Nobody is afraid of them. You can’t really take them serious - which is an ideal to recommended to any Homo Sapiens. Yet they have a lot of character and are smarter than the turd who wants to become president again. And they get quiet old without going to Equinox or using nutrition supplement or detox and all that shit.
