Getting down with the dirty in a tiny tiled room is sooooo satisfying. Soap scum… crusty tile… dirty mirrors… toilets (general)… etc… Small room so it’s not a beast to clean, but plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. And at the end, you have a super fresh room to hang out in a few times a day 😁

my shower in my apartment gives me claustrophobia because it’s really small (you can’t bend over without your ass hitting the wall) with only one clear door, so i really prefer to use the bathtub, especially if i’m not washing my hair. you can use a cup to rinse yourself off with water from the tap, so i don’t think it’s “gross” like some people say. something about sitting and resting, tucking my knees into my chest instead of standing and rushing through it feels luxurious. it’s also miles better than a shower for sore muscles!!

After a long day of doing stuff where your feet start to feel sweaty and your hair is messed up….a shower is heaven. I spend 20+ minutes in a hot shower, get out brush my teeth, do my skin care and get into my nice bed and it feels damn good to be clean. My favorite part of the day no doubt.

There’s no key to happiness, but I think this is part of it. Ask the deli guy how his day is going. Tell the lady who held the door for you to have a good one.

The good u put out into the world will come back to you tenfold. Today i chit chatted with the person making my lunch and then when their card machine wasn’t working, he gave me a big ole discount!! Super awesome I am so grateful 😁

After I got up and showered on Friday morning, I went down to the coffee shop on my block to get breakfast. As I was on my way home, the woman walking behind me said, “Oh, you look so cozy. You look like you woke up and thought I’m gonna get myself a coffee and crawl right back into bed!” Dear reader, that is exactly what I thought when I woke up that morning!
