Getting down with the dirty in a tiny tiled room is sooooo satisfying. Soap scum⦠crusty tile⦠dirty mirrors⦠toilets (general)⦠etc⦠Small room so itās not a beast to clean, but plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. And at the end, you have a super fresh room to hang out in a few times a day š
I grew up in a house where a bathroom is never truly clean unless you use bleach. And I love when all the work is done. The tub and faucet are rinsed and sparkling. And the smell of bleach has dissipated and all that is left is the clean fresh smell of nothingness. Love it!
My shower is the perfect sizeānot too big, not too small, just long enough for me to sit on the floor and stretch my legs all the way outāwith a rainfall showerhead. I have a bidet as always. The toilet paper roll is really nice (LOL). Thereās a heater built into the wall, a vessel sink that sits on top of the countertop with ample room on either side, and perfectly flattering lightingāabove and framing the mirror š„° Iām not even a shower person and I thought I would be bummed out not having a bathtub again but Iāve been loving it
Thereās no key to happiness, but I think this is part of it. Ask the deli guy how his day is going. Tell the lady who held the door for you to have a good one.
The good u put out into the world will come back to you tenfold. Today i chit chatted with the person making my lunch and then when their card machine wasnāt working, he gave me a big ole discount!! Super awesome I am so grateful š
After I got up and showered on Friday morning, I went down to the coffee shop on my block to get breakfast. As I was on my way home, the woman walking behind me said, āOh, you look so cozy. You look like you woke up and thought Iām gonna get myself a coffee and crawl right back into bed!ā Dear reader, that is exactly what I thought when I woke up that morning!
