somehow forgot to include this earlier but this was like the most incredibly validating and empowering and inspiring platform for teen me. it helped me grow and learn so much especially creatively and in developing my general aesthetic sensibilities. i spent every possible moment on this site from like 2009-2012 roughly and even made some lifelong friends!!!

does anyone remember in 2015ish when peach hit? sort of a private microblogging platform. a lot of people joined and left after like a month. i had a hardcore true blue tumblr clique and we migrated there. weβre now approaching 10 years on that app and a lot of us never left (probably 40 of us). i post 2-3 times a day on there, same with my friends. iβve also made new friends on there that are attending my wedding in march (marrying a man i met on tumblr in 2012 π).
this app reminds me a lot of peach makes me grateful to have been a lonely 17 year old girl online!! i owe everything to my internet friends who are now my irl besties, bachelorette party crew, cat sitters, dinner dates, frenemies, neighbors, hosts when iβm in their city. the tiny internet is magic
