I used to straighten my hair every day for yearssss and now I can’t believe I ever did that. Got myself a hairstylist who specializes in wavy cuts. Got bangs again (always made me feel most like myself) except now I don’t fight the cowlick in the middle of my forehead nearly as much.

Got a haircut yesterday and asked the stylist for Sabrina-carpenter-esque curtain bangs (+ a chop + went back to my natural color). She did amazing, this is my first time having bangs since my bowl cut days and I love it, everyone needs a bangs era
It is my absolute dream to have hair that looks like clairo’s. Alas I have a cowlick and can’t get bangs. They look So good. Shoutout to all of the people of the world with bangs.
the hair thing.. rec’ing on 2 counts. 1) asymmetry & non-uniformity are cute & delightful and 2) what a wonderful term to describe it!!!! the fondness i have for the imagery it conjures entirely eradicates any frustration at how permanently wonky my bangs are……… a lovely little cow kissed me right here 😌👈
