i know the urge is strong but your life and their life will be better if you just keep your damn mouth shut and let them keep believing that wrong thing that brings them joy
Don’t share that thing. It may be funny and juicy and crazy but just don’t share it. Some people lie about stuff, so it’s best to just keep your mouth shut.
for all the glorification of “yapping” there is also something to be said for just not speaking. very often your best course of action is to just shut the fuck up. you gotta become okay with the idea of “sitting this one out,” playing your cards close to your chest, moving in silence like lasagna, etc etc loose lips sink ships!!!!
i love hearing that girl sing her heart out in the shower through the bathroom vent. or the guy hocking insane loogies all the time. the alternating smells of delicious homemade chinese food or something totally burning in the oven… am always wondering if its the same kitchen!
