I wish plans were still like this. Imagine our parents: they made plans and you either show up or you don’t… There’s no texting to check if you’re on the way in 1980.

chlonline exactly!! I felt the urge to text my friend that i missed a train and might be running late the other night but resisted and what do you know, I ended up arriving on the dot and peacefully waited at the bar until she got there two minutes later.

make plans with a friend in the morning to be at the gym or take a walk or meet at a coffee shop ☕️ or make a bet with someone that you’ll be up doing things by a certain time and you’ll FaceTime them. and if you don’t you pay them $5
