Not eating every single meal out while traveling.

There's something about not spending 3-4 hours a day at 3 different restaurants for the full duration of a trip. I find it grounding to be able to cook/prep at least 1 meal a day. Especially, if i'm staying somewhere with a view. A little breakfast - Chia pudding with a lil granola + fresh fruit. A cup of coffee. If I wanna treat myself, maybe a glass of OJ. Enjoy the view. Then continue to enjoy the rest of my day.

office worker pro move is to keep a box of cereal and carton of oat milk at the office. (related rec: hide your milk in the back of the fridge so people don't steal it for coffee.)

Feeding Tuna (new zealand longfin eel)

Mysterious and ethereal critters. They can become quite tame and almost walk???? I love them so much. they travel from the rivers out to sea then to an unknown place near Tonga to spawn and die; the babies or larvae then find their way back to their ancestral rivers hundreds of kilometres away riding ocean currents…
