All these trends saying 2014/15 indie sleeze and tumblr aesthetic is back and I feel like Iām going insane because they mean 2010/11 right?? either way, Iām here for the 2011 revival. I bought stripey tights the other day, I wore a messy quiff to a party.

Maybe trends popping up from decades past (like the y2k resurgence right now) arenāt for the preteens and young girls itās actually for the women that grew up in that era and are finally comfortable enough in their own skin to feel good wearing what they always felt awkward in as a girl and now they feel flirty and hot

things were easier (because i was a kid) but it seemed so simple. where are all the frozen yogurt restaurants? why donāt people have cds anymore? bring back limewire and online chat blogs and weird websites and silly graphic t-shirts and chunky sneakers and twee and hipster styles. i miss collegehumor and buzzfeed. but i bring the nostalgia for myself back every day by dressing like i stepped out of a rhett and link music video and listening to modest mouse and metric and the yeah yeah yeahs. i love my digital camera and my dvds and volunteering at my university radio station.

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.

I used to be envious of people who had āMySpace friendsā or ātumblr friendsā. Now I have PI.FYI friends. Thank you capyboppy for your lovely letter and this illustration of a capybara and a mouse with fruit on our heads, it made me weirdly emotional ā¤ļø
