⭐theres just something about rewatching breaking bad that is different from rewatching anything else, each time it feels the same. like i have never seen it before.
it’s not my favorite show, i think if i had to place it it would be somewhere between top 10 and top 20 but even so, its new every time. not new like there is something new to get from it or that i feel like i am gaining any special insight or even that i forget what happens i can’t explain what i mean any better.

it’s time! it’s better than you think it’ll be some times and much much worse at others, but you gotta love the show for all its flaws.
makes me think about watching it for the first time in 2020 AND makes me want to wear sunglasses outside and have good posture for some reason. Reid i will love you forever

📺Avatar: The Last Airbender- I didn't watch this until I was an adult and I think it’s one of the greatest shows ever made.
Sharp Objects- the energy the story is so palpable. Holds up against the book too. The reveal 😩!!! The Wire or Sopranos- I watched both when I was postpartum with my son and it’s hard to choose between the two. I just remember finishing each and thinking, “oh I get it now.” New Girl- what can I say, I’m a millennial.
Interesting observation; every single one of these shows I did not watch until years after they finished.

I got these really tiny accordion books last year and I’ve been using them for super long form exquisite corpses- this one has been going since April and just finished today! Friends and strangers all worked on it with me, and now they are all trapped in my little book :-3
