just started this anime, it was recommended to me and i am really loving it! i am just on episode 3 out of like 13 but so far it is a really delicate but empowering exploration of trauma, loneliness, friendship, and adolescence. it is dark but sweet and takes place mostly in the protagonist's dreams/nightmares. even though the premise is very surreal and even fantastical, the characters and the animation itself have a realism that i really appreciate.

— favourite anime alongside flip flappers. a slice of life fantasy

— fun mystery set in a fictional country inspired by imperial china
06. the summer hikaru died
— a promising horror with implied queer characters. take what I said with a grain of salt since it’s been a while since I read it
07. kaguya-sama: love is war
— hilarious romcom about rich high schoolers minus the protagonist
08. chainsaw man
— a fever dream ngl, but a good one
09. uzumaki
— classic horror. has some romance elements tbh
10. haikyuu
—my original favourite sports anime ^^ it holds a special place in my heart
11. blue lock + episode nagi
— my absolute fave sports manga rn even though I can’t take it seriously at times. kaiser’s my favourite red flag
12. girls’ last tour
— end of the world slice of life. bittersweet
13. violet evergarden
— fyi the relationship is weird, but I just choose to ignore it. aside from that, everything else is beautiful though)
14. flip flappers
— so very underrated! the fandom is pretty much nonexistent. sci-fi magical girls)
15. good night punpun
— definitely not for the faint of heart. depression incarnate and has many mature themes and triggering topics

Currently airing anime that I’m enjoying immensely. It’s so lovely and chill and vibey yet compelling and sentimental. And just really recognizes how getting to know other people and getting close/deepening those friendships/relationships and recognizing how that changes you is such a core part of being alive with the time you have left. WATCH IT!!!!
