Music recs are such a delicate thing...people like what they like and abjure what they dont. i see music recs on here everyday and find myself mistrustful of them for no real reason. I think i want to change my internal ecosystem and become a person who will listen to and share music. In the interest of that i recommend this: bo khat eternal troof family band. I like to collect albums that set a mood. This one is relaxing on the couch after working in the cold under the incandescent light of a floor lamp. I hope anyone can listen to this :)

i was gifted an ipod for my birthday which made me want to return to a more meaningful relationship with music, a step back from streaming. bandcamp is a beautiful creation and this one of my favorite finds. some beautiful acoustic folk tunes, recorded on a subway station nonetheless! you can actively hear trains on certain songs, which only adds to the sonic experience π

also happens to be two of my favorite albums! Glitter by Pasteboard and Three Love Songs by Ricky Eat Acid. Glitter is a Japanese shoegaze album from the 2000s while Three Love Songs is an ambient/synth/sample album from the mid-2010s. Both of them are very calming, giving the same feeling as traveling down an overgrown path on a brisk day. Guess this is also a recs post because Iβm curious if yall have had a similar experience with two albums/eps/songs?

I always go on a day long outdoor excursion in a natural or semi natural area (city parks work as long as theyre big enough) ocean or lake is ideal due to outside water's cleansing properties. Laying down on the ground (sleeping, even) and looking at things that are far away are also important, as well as having lunch at a cafe or something with no time limit on how long you take to eat πͺ² dont come home until youre feeling sleepy (not just tired)
