the absolute chokehold these movies have on me is unparalleled but also these movies simply must be experienced in an imax theatre to feel the full effect of the visuals and the sound and the score
i loved the first one, but the second one was keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time. i saw it 3 times in theaters, including once in IMAX, my first time in IMAX, it was awesome visually and the movie was amazing i gasped so many times!!
Both parts may be one of the best movie adaptations from a literary source of all time. The LOTR Trilogy has been king for so long and it finally has some worthy competition.
