Taking notes reminds me of being in school which makes me feel at peace. While his work makes me feel schizophrenic and scared it also gives me a sort of galaxy-brained high. The notes will become pointless scraps of paper I refuse to ever throw out despite them being essentially worthless. But sometimes I will reread them and feel something good inside.

it’s like free associative brain illuminations. i feel like rimbaud, taking my little notes when there’s a good movie on the tv. i’m like superman. i take my little notes and i dont care how they look because you flip over the page and you never have to look at it again. it’s like throwing a page in your laundry basket, you don’t have to look at it until it’s laundry day and you're sorting them into lights and darks and occasionally you see a little doodle and you’re reminded of god and poptarts and suddenly act one makes sense again.

My desk is cluttered with loose paper full of notes on books and articles and Wikipedia pages I read and half-read. writing down the things that stick with me helps me commit them to memory, and knowing things is nice, especially when the information isn’t particularly applicable in my every day life…

once i got over my fear of not having anything "important" or "smart" to write or my pages not looking aesthetically pleasing enough, i realized how refreshing and therapeutic it is to put my thoughts on paper—regardless of how much value i'll find in them in the future

Need I say more? You're falling for the government psyop to sedate the masses and so they'll put up with increasingly bleak standards of living, lies, etc.

Instagram blog of a 21-year-old Catholic autistic girl from Canada named Becky. She's addicting to watch and honestly, it's very feel-good content. She has a support dog named Moses, collects Pope memorabilia, is engaged. Her content ranges from Tiktok trends and GRWMs to sad montages of when she was an addict (I think to weed and alcohol?). Follow her.

This is my favorite podcast (but it is technically a radio show). I am a spotify user and have apple music just to hear this show. Hosted by Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig and painter Jake Longstreth. Some of their favorite topics are corporate food history (guests like CEO of Dunkin), 1970s rock music (huge Dead heads), and comparing the top 5 songs today with the top 5 from a year in another era (50s-current day). This show is a joy and a comfort and one of the only things holding me down sometimes.
