I don’t understand the chemistry behind it (yet) but something about the lemon eliminates the artificial sweetener‘s chemical taste and transforms the flavor of the soda into something subtly magical

Rejecting the notion of diet soda
the fake sugar tastes sooo weirdd and bad it feels forbidden or something. i wish i didn’t have to consume so many calories for my dr pepper fix but it’s simply irreplaceable
