- weleda skin food (smells incredible and one of the only things that locks in moisture during extremely dry weather - pixi glow tonic (gentle chemical exfoliant p good as a toner for dull skin) - the ordinary buffet (I think it has a new name now - peptides and hyaluronic acid, great for retaining moisture and smoothness)
there’s this line called Byoma that I also really like and have been using daily

They’ve been super helpful for hyperpigmentation, scarring, texture, and redness. I’ve used them off and on for years! I use the extreme night but the daily cleansing are also good and it might be better to start off with those if your skin isn’t used to acids. These are like getting a chemical peel but they’re more mild and easier to apply. Wear sunscreen during the day as they can make your skin more photosensitive! But I guess you should wear sunscreen anyway or whatever.
Also a big fan of cocoa butter as a moisturizer which should also help… And jojoba oil is a great skin oil with kind of a drier less greasy texture.
LATELY I have been using Weleda baby sensitive care face cream because I saw somebody mention it as a gentler fragrance free version of Weleda Skin Food… which is a goated moisturizer and gives you a beautiful glow but unfortunately it was admittedly mildly irritating to my face (much better when diluted with an oil like jojoba though)… the baby cream definitely smells like it should go on a baby’s skin in the sense that it has a vaguely medicinal smell. it’s very rich and thick with a whipped texture… delightful and very hydrating. And it comes in the FOIL TUBE which skin food also used to come in but now it’s packaged in plastic instead 🤢

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream Blast of relief, here. Like a little waterbed wrapped in flannel sheets for your face.
Laboratories Embryolisse Lait Creme Sensitive Specifically formulated to "soothe, nourish and moisturize easily damaged skin which reacts to the tiniest trigger, and needs the most tender care." And it does! Tackier texture, but great under concealer (or mixed with it, for that matter). Instant relief.
Eau Thermale Avène Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Balm I love how this one sits on the skin—light but nourishing.
COSRX Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Mist I did not believe in mists, or at least believe they'd do anything at all to help my red dry skin, until this one. Now my mom and my sister own one and I carry it always in my purse.

SISH Beauty In-Shower Facial Treatment A new recommendation, but I'm loving how lightly exfoliating, deeply cleansing, and not stripping it is. It's a solid product, and it's not an everyday thing, but I can't scrub everyday anyways. It's vegan, gluten free, cruelty free, pregnancy safe and does not contain any harmful chemicals, parabens, or aluminum compounds.
Eau Thermale Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser If I'm wearing more face makeup or a heavier eye look and I need to get it all off without ripping a layer of skin off in the process, this is the stuff. Best removed with a warm washcloth and some steam, in my opinion. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Yeah yeah, sometimes fancy water is worth it, and I think this is one of those times. It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free, and doesn't make my skin more red. Best for light makeup or no makeup days when I don't want to wash with soap.
Skinfix Barrier+ Foaming Oil Hydrating Cleanser In the shower, feeling like I need a good bubbly wash, I go for this Skinfix soaper. It's milky, foams, and doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped post-cleanse.
