it's a beautiful 72 here in pittsburgh and ive been listening to debussy and bizet while walking and running errands. something about classical music makes me like look up and around and appreciate nature and the city and everyone around me!! if anybody has any classical recs...drop them below

My playlist where I dumped some of the songs I listened to. Iโve played a lot of these like Danse Macabre so it really takes me back I need to start seeing the symphony again itโs actually sick that I donโt bc I have one of the best symphony orchestras in the world like ten minutes away from my house ๐คจ

Long story short - I guess I bought the top 50 classical songs collection as study music off iTunes during college and now whenever I press play on my AirPods without another app open it defaults to this music.
I feel like a little aristocrat cycling around listening, and the juxtaposition between the traffic chaos and the soundtrack is ๐งโ๐ณ๐

I love Sufjan Stevens, Tori Amos, Mitski, the Carpenters, etc. a lot, but for about a week and a half a month, Iโll only listen to classical music. Itโs like an acid peel for the soul, and I always feel refreshed afterwards. You have to be really making an effort to classicalmaxx as well & trade up your standard compilation choices for Lawes, Saariaho, Dutilleux, Lutyens, Gesualdo, etc.
