today I taught my manager what IIRC stood for. sometimes I don’t like typing things out completely and that adds/subtracts brevity, depends if the other person knows the abbreviation you’re using
i think basically all the words i misspell have double letters in the middle - i constantly spell things off like: embarass, ocasion/occassion, occurence, reccomend, accomodate, etc. i generally know my own habitual misspellings now though so i’ll usually catch them after i write something and correct it before sending (i keep autocorrect off)
These emails had to be read and replied to very quickly (I’m talking in the span of ONE MINUTE lol) and I wasn’t about to type in lowercase like that. Luckily I am no longer bound to my inbox but the habit remains and I would feel strange if I stopped. I think it suits my overly formal nature anyway
