well, it's my last night here in Vegas and holy moly, what a show at the mirage hotel/casino. the music is amazing - if you like the beatles even a little, I rec listening to the compilation/remix album they released for this show in 2006: "LOVE". the show was fun, thrilling, moving and you gotta see it soon if you want to because I believe it's going to be closing for good after this year. it was the brainchild of george harrison and after his death, george martin and his son giles created the remix soundtrack using the deep, back catalog of apple records' master tapes to bring this exhilarating show to life.

the incredible Beatles documentary on the making of Let it Be My favorite parts: when they jam together, especially when John and Paul riff back and forth, laughing and goofing off โ€” making faces, doing accents, singing through their closed teeth, inventing risque lyrics their joy in making music and love for one another so evident An inspiring picture of a creative process Eight hours well spent. And: love that Ringo Starr!

ever close your eyes and feel the present moment so deeply that the spaces between sound become more apparent than individual noises ? it's a reminder that without space, there wouldn't be planets or stars. that we could never be anything without no-thing
