happened twice. metallica, greta van fleet, and cage the elephant and sublime and two other bands. of course ive heard of those bands but i didnt listen to them before the concerts. some of the most fun ive had.
My dad always invites me to his fave rock bands’ concerts that happen to be in town, and honestly i know so few of them but I always say yes. sometimes I brush up on the discography but more often than not I just kinda raw dog the experience. Like tonight, we saw IQ and wow, the guitarist was actually ablaze he was so good. Sometimes it’s nice to just accompany someone to something they really enjoy. you Might end up enjoying it too!!! I have, every time.
If you're feeling uneasy about going to a show alone, invite a friend you haven't seen in awhile. They might not be able to make it, but if they do, you'll find some time before or after to reconnect and I'm sure they'll appreciate that you thought of them. I've done this a couple times in the last few years and it's been great
