went down the pub with a pal and her folks. earned a lot of points with my assessment that a gin and tonic is ‘more than the sum of its parts’ - means absolutely nothing but jim loved it. is there greater praise than that
dont cry over spilled milk. but here i was experiencing a joy so immense that the peers, or perhaps the oban region as a whole, found such joy to be one of intoxication. no booze here.

literally the pinnacle of intimacy and fun. i love going out for a little drink for all occasions: tomorrow is my best friend's birthday (drinks!) date on saturday (caffeinated drinks!) visiting fam/friends at home (catch-up drinks!) need to do schoolwork (SOLO caffeinated drinks!)

a lesson in assertiveness here. despite mounting peer pressure to share my spoils, I emerged with two full bottles, rich beyond my wildest dreams! the world is kind and full of oil.
