⭐IG is so fucking boring these days. I've had enough. I post intimate and weirdly overthetop "poems" of sorts about the nitty gritty details of my life. I lose followers with every post and that gives me such a rush. Shake up that algorithm and let me know what's REALLY going on in your life!

⭐often when something noteworthy happens to me -- a negative sexual experience, an awkward date, a weird subway encounter -- i'll have the impulse to post about it on twitter. but then i think, what if i texted this to my friend instead? and then you can text it to your friend, maybe even one you haven't texted in a while, and they will probably be happy to hear from you directly and you will have strengthened a beautiful relationship. all tweets are spiritually corrosive and the spirit of your new interpersonal bond will persevere long after platforms are dead

👥Like many of us, I've been on social media since early adolescence. It's part of who I am for better or worse.
Now I work in social media, so I'm not really able to remove myself from it completely. I need to be in the know about trends and new features :/ Sometimes it's exciting, but I know it's so bad for me (and everyone). I'm also 30 now and I'm starting to feel like some online spaces aren't really for me anymore. Also MZ can smd!
But I do love stories, especially close friends stories. I find it to be one of the quickest ways to share my life with most of my friends. I can find community events, mutual aid opportunities, Also good for stalking and crushing heheehe what can I say.

started truly believing in it a few years ago when i first moved to nashville. there are a lot of things i don’t like about my life, down to daily tasks like having to wait for a bus despite being an impatient person, up to not being proud of my own family dynamic, but i'm learning to make peace with it—this is the one life i’m gonna have, and some things i just can’t change, whether that’s for now or for a long while
