I got no real talent for skating aside from having a strong natural sense of balance but damn if cruising around in circles on 8 wheels all night isnโt making me want to get really good at roller skating
the DJ is playing 80s pop, 2000s rap, techno, 70s funk, Kendrick Lamar, folks are partner dancing, starting skate trains, whistle blowing, fan clacking, lots of people are probably high. itโs a good time.

i haven't been to a skating rink since i was a kid, but this past weekend i went with friends. it was so much fun! they also had a dj there that we could request songs to. we were dancing and singing and skating ๐ถ๐ถ๐ผ๐ชฉ i highly recommend doing something your inner child would love.

started two years ago and it took over my life.
depending on the city you are in you meet so many people
helps me connect to music in a care free way
have also started traveling to skate festivals around the world though tbh nothing ever beats skating in your home city if you meet the right people
