Not until the last drop of morning coffee passes my lips do I start to feel normal. From that point it’s a constant battle for supremacy with my kids over whose brain gets to have the next dopamine fix (100% kids always win). Survival is not the goal. Avoiding cannibalism is.
Damn good for you! I did this for a period in my life (aided by having a lot of friends at November Project to motivate me). But wow I can no longer do this on my own and it’s especially a bummer in the summer when that’s the only option for runs.
I love rec'ing this after like a day of doing it but I legit feel better than I have in months... the sheer act of being able to get out of bed & work out & meditate & watch the sunrise... that's what life is all about baby
i wake up at the crack of dawn, don my activewear and hit the pavement ! nothing quite like the silence that greets me (before i put on my marshall headphones) catching the worm before everyone else in my house, and starting my day bang on queue B-)
