I hate this wave of hour tracking and micromanagement. Why do they need to know im not efficient (i can be, i just hate my job) at getting a task done? None of this is real, just give me a deadline and ill get it to you. i dont keep track of how long i spend on a task, managers know im lying, whatās the point.
people will see the stopwatch and they will get anxious and ask you āwhy do you have a stopwatch active on your phoneā. You can do anything at that point. Refuse to give them a straight answer, donāt give them an inch. āIām tracking how long itās been sinceā¦ā and look off into the distance. āSometimes you just need to know how many minutes or hours itās beenā¦ā. this stresses people out a lot. very funny to do to people
