i got these when i was doing prep in a kitchen and they were a god send. non-slip (which idk if thatโs important to you but it is helpful), comfy, and close toed! not the prettiest but they were really nice on my feet. i have pretty high arches and these gave me really good support and i stopped coming home from work with my feet aching every day after i got these lol!
Birkenstock bostonโs & lugged high top converse in black.
the birks are best for everyday and go with almost everything and my chucks are so good for shoes and raves
(second hand because I'm not paying that). I'm slowly but surely making it so all of my shoes have toe gaps or separated toes because I love the sensation and also they are the only kind of shoes I've ever had that never rub even without socks. These are a recent acquisition and they are SO comfy, did a big walk in them and felt supported and the grip is great. They also don't have laces and I am anti laces.
the Toronto reference library is a really cool building to spend some time in! There is also a cool magazine store called issues.ย really like eating at Sunnyโs Chinese, bbs, and rhum corner. Famiglia baldassare is a great pasta place but they are only open for lunch and there is usually a line. My fav little pizza place is called bitondo I like to do grocery shopping in Kensington market, there is a great spice store, Latin grocer and cheese store Civil liberties is a great bar, bireria volo is a good beer bar if you are into music / dancing I have additional recs!
