so very true. coming up on two years since my mom’s passing and I still avoid Mother by Porter Robinson when I listen to his album Nurture unless i’m trying to visit that kinda place for a bit. very sweet song tho and great album.

A meditation on grief, loneliness, and redemption that never feels in danger of being pat or mawkish. Also made me feel sad and nostalgic for a time when our lives weren’t inundated with screens.
