It’s fun to vibe with music from different personalities and perspectives. Linked is one me and my friend Raine made of half love songs/half sad songs and I think we might have fallen in love in the process. No pressure, though. Just make some damn playlists with your friends and enjoy, or see what happens!

My best friend and I have a collaborative playlist to which we add songs almost daily -- whenever I’m thinking of her she’ll know bc I would’ve already added a song to it!

sharing music is such a beautiful thing, and there’s no better feeling than having a playlist specifically made for you <3 friends, partners, family - make them for yourself if you have no one to share with! my spotify is linked if you wanna check out some of mine :)

This is my love language. I’ve loved It since the days of making mix CDs, so I typically keep them to 18-20 songs. Somewhere around an hour. Playlists can be infinite now, but adding self-imposed limitations forces you to make choices and be intentional. It makes for better playlists. Sometimes I make playlists for people based around a theme (like Fall) but other times it’s a random word or word phrase like “retro futurism.” The goal is always to find those gems that people will hear for the first time and go, “Oh man, I love that song.”

It’s a nice little dopamine hit and helps you connect to old familiar feelings of comfort. I started doing this after a bout of pandemic depression and it still helps me get out of a funk every once in a while.
